Statistics of public opinion show front runners of coming elections. Front runners might be Social democrats or Labour Party. Half of the government is chosen by first wins the post votes where it is difficult to point out  the first one, so whoever wins this race  will have to share the power.

In opinion of Politologist Lauras Bielinis bigger  chance for a seat of prime minister have social democrats because Labour Party might be not accepted by a president of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite. I think that social democrats had bigger chance to establish ruling coalition because Labour Party was discriminated in some way by President as well as some political parties. This Party seemed to be observed with a distance by other Parties. During establishment of ruling coalition Laboul Party would have some problems – believes Bielinis.
Also, Bielinis thinks that social democrats might establish coalition with a party of  Roalnd Paksas „ Order and justice „  („Tvarka ir teisingumas”) and Electoral Action of Poles on Lithuania. Politologist is not even  regretting of  the probability of establishment rainbow coalition of Social Democrats and Conservatives.

On the other hand,  Vytautas Dumbliauskas from the University of Michal Romer thinks that Social Democrats might establish coalition with EAPL and Party of Vilnius’ Mayor Arturas Zuokas. If he crosses the electoral threshold.

Moreover,  Vytautas Dumbliauskas thinks social democrats might establish coalition even with Labour Party, but they do not trust them very much. Asked if he imagines coalition of conservatives and Labour Party, politologist says it depends on atmosphere between conservatives. If in the party wins landsbergiści then the coalition is impossible but if bigger influence have people of Andrius Kubilius then the coalition is possible.

PL DELFI  reminds about clarifies of constitutional Court, where the president should agreed with every candidate for prime minister’s seat who is present by absolute majority. The candidate might be from minor formation, if the coalition Parties will say so.
