A joint book of Różewicz and Eidrigevičius will be published
Very soon a joint book of Tadeusz Różewicz and Stasys Eidrigevičius will be released.
It consists of selected poems of Tadeusz Różewicz „Woda w garnuszku” (Lithuanian “Vanduo puodelyje”) illustrated by Lithuanian graphic designer Stasys Eidrigevičius.
It was translated into Lithuanian by Eugenijus Ališanka, designed by Jokūbas Jacovskis and published by Apostrofa.
The book will be presented on the Vinius Book Fair.
Tadeusz Różewicz (born on 21 October 1921 in Radomsko, died on 24 April 2014 in Wrocław) – Polish poet, dramatist, screenwriter, prose writer, satirist and translator of Hungarian poetry. One of the most prominent and the most fertile continuator of avant-garde literature in the country and abroad. The member of the 6th Division of the Artistic Creation of the Polish Academy of Learning. Many times regarded as a candidate for the Noble Prize.
Stasys Eidrigevičius (born 24 July 1949 in Mediniškiai in Lithuania) – graphic designer of Polish origin. Since 1980 he has lived in Poland. He is active in many artistic fields, such as: poster design, book illustration, painting, scenography, photography, performance. He also works for the “Polityka” weekly.
