Ewelina Saszenko on Christmas
Ewelina Saszenko spent Christmas in her hometown – Rudziszki, among her family: ”I never play concerts on 23, 24 and 25 December, these days are devoted to my family – that is my rule, I have been raised that way”. The last few days of the year are very busy, the fans are waiting! The most loyal and eager to sing fans are the Poles. They did not disappoint this year either, during the concert “Swingująca kartka bożonarodzeniowa z Eweliną Saszenko” in the Polish Community Centre in Vilnius.
”I love Christmas, I love songs that during this festive time are everywhere: on the radio, TV, in the shops. Last year I have prepared a setlist composed of such songs, and this year I decided to perform it with Polish lyrics” – said Ewelina Saszenko.
Well-known, popular Christmas standards resounded during the concert in DKP. Ewelina dedicated one of the songs to her father, Włodzimierz Saszenko. It was ”Kolęda domowa” (ang. Home carol) composed by Włodzimierz Saszenko to the words of the Vilnius poet – Aleksander Śnieżko.
Ewelina was accompanied by the band: Paulius Zdanavičius (grand piano), Eugenijus Kanevičius (double bass), Martynas Lukoševičius (drums).
The new year will bring new interesting musical projects and concert to Ewelina. What does the singer dream of? Of love…
Ewelina, we wish you love – big and beautiful in this New Year!
