Prime Minister of Lithuania met in Vilnius with the Lithuanians from Puńsk
Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius thanked the mayor for a long Puńsk activities for celebrities of Lithuania and uniting Lithuanians living in Poland. Lithuanian minority actually works very rapidly. It is worth noting that the Lithuanians in Puńsk shall enjoy the rights, of which for years unsuccessfully fighting the Poles in Lithuania: Lithuanian language in the municipality of Puńsk auxiliary language, also introduced 30 bilingual geographical names for places and bilingual road signs. As you can see – labels are not acceptable on only one side of the Polish-Lithuanian border.
Representatives Puńsk, the only municipality in Poland, which constitute the majority of Lithuanians, met in Vilnius with Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the mayor Puńsk Liszkowskiemu Witold (Vytautas point Liškauskas) for long-term activities for rozsławiania Lithuania and uniting Lithuanians living in Poland.

Darius and Girenasa in Puńsk, Elementary School with Lithuanian language of instruction in Widugierach, Kindergarten Local Government of Lithuania and the Polish language of instruction in Puńsk and High School of the Lithuanian language of instruction.
