„We have to learn to be more open-minded”. Inauguration of the school year in polish schools

1st September was sunday this year, so school year in vilnius schools started on September 2nd. Zw.lt redaction visited middle school named after John Paul II and preschool „Wilia”.

„I know that we have to show and teach you many things. (…) We have to teach you how to maintain order. We have to teach you how to control your emotions – when situation requires it – but we also have to teach you how to be more open-minded” said Adam Błaszkiewicz, headmaster of the John Paul’s II middle school.

As the ranking of weekly newspaper „Veidas” sais, this school has the best location (30th place) among all polish schools in Lithuania.

„Current school year begun very well. Like in previous years, classes are full.” – declared headmaster of preschool „Wilia” Zofia Matarewicz.

Preschool „Wilia” is known as one of the most prestigious polish educational points in Lithuania.

Minister of energetics, Jarosław Niewierowicz, who spend last 4 years in Warsaw, send his children here.

 „I think it would be fun. Children and teachers are fantastic, parents too. That’s why I think that everything is going to be all right” – said to zw.lt J. Niewierowicz

„We’re glad that we’re in „Wilia”, because our elder daughter started primary school. Also the younger generation is waiting for its time to go to the same preschool.” – added Andrzej Orłowski, director of UAB „Žybartuva“.
