Recently, there has been a lot of talk about a young actress from Vilnius, Joanna Moro. It is because  of the main role in the tv series about Anna German. Moro talked, among other things, about her beginnings in Warsaw in the interviews for Polish press.

People are very fond of this girl from Vilnius. She is often a guest in Polish TV stations and Internet portals.

Recently, she said in the Polish tv station TVN studio that she doesn’t love the spotlight, and that she wanted to be a florist when she was a kid.

However, her beginnings in the Polish capital wasn’t easy. She talked about it in the interview for „Twój Styl” magazine. At first, the young actress was afraid that if she were to flaunt her Lithuanian origins, she would only be seen as the Eastern European girl.

„I was exotic. But then I stopped flaunting my Lithuanian origins. I was scared that I will be cast only in the roles of girls from Eastern Europe. I took care to get rid of my lilt, the melody in my voice that sometimes still can be heard”. Moro said.

In less than two weeks, Lithuanian viewers would be able to see Joanna at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. She will perform Anna German’s songs and what is more she will be one of the hosts of the event.
