Polish business forum “Korona” per aspera ad astra

Another two meetings of the Polish business forum “Korona” have taken place, where Lithuanian companies owned by people of Polish origin were united.

The members of the forum discussed issues, such as: meeting the representatives of the local government of the Vilnius Region; the future structure of “Korona”; establishing and developing an Internet site and new admissions to “Korona”.

During the discussion, current actions concerning the meeting with the local government of the Vilnius Region were reported.  The mayor of the region, Maria Rekść, had been contacted. She appreciated the initiative and expressed her willingness to organise the meeting herself.

It was established that a preparatory meeting, organised by a delegation of three members of the forum, will be held first. They will present the most interesting issues and determine which specialist from the local government they want to meet.

During further discussion, a proposal was made to appoint individual committees. This proposal was widely accepted, which led to more specific settlements, namely, that the committees would be appointed by their order rather than business, since the number of businesses could be too high.  The committees will be entrusted to develop topics/propositions relevant to the members of the forum.

During the discussion plans were also made to establish and develop an Internet site of the forum. The domain www.korona.lt was reserved and a group responsible for the development of the site was appointed. The group will work on the concept of the site and will present actual solutions which then will be discussed during next meetings of “Korona”.

Finally, the members of the assembly discussed the proposition of accepting an LCC company, “Heldona” as a new member of the Polish business forum “Korona”. Thus, another dynamic and prosperous company joined the forum.
