Skvernelis will visit the Šalčininkai region: We want to meet the problems of national minorities

On Friday the Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis will visit the Šalčininkai region. The visit includes meetings with the region community and representatives of local government.

“The visit has several purposes. One of them is to meet the situation of the region inhabited by national minorities. We want to meet the problems of national minorities. Perhaps certain solutions will be also proposed” – said Tomas Beržinskas, Prime Minister’s spokesman in an interview for the Radio “Znad Willi”.

The visit includes meetings in the Primary School in Šalčininkėliai, the Jan Śniadecki Junior High School and the Tysiąclecie Junior High School in Šalčininkai. It is planned to have dinner with representatives of local government.

The Prime Minister will also visit one of the private enterprises that has its office in the region.
