Czesław Miłosz School – new name for school in Kiena

The name of primary school in Kiena has been changed. By the decision of the Government Council of Vilnius Region now it is Czesław Miłosz Primary School. It’s the first school in Lithuania that has been given a name after the Noble laureate. On this occasion the ceremony will take place in Kiena.

At 1.00 pm. the Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn Church, for the intention of children, teachers and parents.

Special ceremony will take place at school on Wednesday, 9 October, on the 33th anniversary of winning by Czesław Miłosz the Nobel Prize.
