Council financing 110 summer holidays for kids

Capital council will support 110 camps this year, where about 7 thousand kids will spend their holidays. 2 thousand of them are kids socially supported and they will get special reduced prices.

Vilnius authorities will commit 85 thousand euro for summer camps – twice more than a year ago.

Nearly 50 camps took place in Vilnius schools, parishes, clubs, social organizations’ headquarters.

List contained sport, artistic, healthy living, animal care, foreign languages and safe driving camps.

Program of supporting camps has been carried out since 11 years and 55 thousand of kids took advantage for it.
