State exam: Worse Lithuanian Examination Scores

According to the National Information Centre, this year the Lithuanian language test results are lower than last year. 

This year 17 904 pupils took the state exam in Lithuanian. 90.6% of students passed the examination, whereas last year it was 91.3%.

The number of students who obtained 100% increased from 0.8% in 2018 to 0.9%. 

The Center also announced English, Russian, Biology and Information Technology (IT) scores.

19,200 pupils took the English language exam, 97.8 % of them passed it, compared with 99.2% in 2018. The number of students who got 100% increased from 5.9% to 6.3%.

97.6% of students who took Biology exam (5,800 persons) passed the examination, as far as the IT exam is concerned, 96.5% from 2,500 passed.

1,600 pupils took the Russian language examination and 96.5% of them successfully passed it.
