Engagement of Radżi: Polish girl caught a wedding bouquet

@ DELFI

It seemed that after all Polish candidates for the heart of the most famous gypsy man in Lithuania had dropped out the topic was exhausted, but… During the filming of the recent edition of a reality show titled “Radżi is looking for a wife” (“Radži ieško žmonos”), that producers had called “Engagement of Radżi”, a traditional wedding bouquet thrown by the bride was caught by Justyna Suckiel, a Polish dancer and choreographer.

“During the filming I was dancing with a gypsy ensemble “Sare Roma”. During the roughly organized engagement party our group played the role of a gypsy caravan which came to wish Radżi and his fiancée all the best. After the bride had received an engagement ring, she traditionally threw the wedding bouquet which I surprisingly caught”, said Justyna Suckiel.

The girl stressed that the event did not mean anything for her, however, she admitted that everything might happen because the bouquet was thrown at the engagement party of a young gypsy.

Asked if she wanted to participate in such a show, she answered, ”True feelings can’t be filmed and it is impossible to fall in love when a half of Lithuania comments on your every move and action”.

“I don’t want to hurt feelings of any of the girls but I think they participate in the reality show in order to gain popularity, achieve personal satisfaction or just watch herself in television”, said the dancer.

Together with “Sare Roma” and the girls participating in the programme, a lot of Lithuanian celebrities participated in the engagement party of Radżi: “Pop ladies”, a group in which Katarzyna Niemyćko sings, “Naujosios pupytės”, Birutė Dambrauskaitė, Deivydas Zvonkus and “Sapphire” choir, Inga Valinskienė, Vaida Genytė, Aleksandras Ivanauskas and others.

The programme will be aired next Saturday.
