Since Monday “Perwyj baltiskij kanał” has started to emit the serial entitled “Anna German. The Mystery of the White Angel”. The main role was  played by the Polish woman coming from the Vilnius Region – Joanna Moro.

“This is the role of my life – extraordinary, wonderful, difficult. Some actresses are looking forward to such an experience for their whole life. I am grateful to the fate that I could take part in such an interesting project” – stated in the interview for PL DELFI Joanna Moro.

Anna German was born in 1936 in Uzbekistan. In 1946, together with her mother, she came to Poland. Anna German was a geologist from profession but a singer by avocation. Thanks to her mother she could speak seven foreign languages and she sang her songs in all of them. As a vocalist she made her debut in 1960. She has been awarded by her most famous hits: “Tak mi z tym źle” and  “Tańczące Eurydyki” at the music festivals in Sopot and Opole.

“I didn’t know the output of this wonderful artist. Now I am under great impression by her unique  voice as well as personality. It’s a shame that it is not the Poles  but the Russians who had the idea to produce this serial” – the actress stated in one of the interviews.
